We welcome all children, including those with additional needs, into our school, and are proud of the progress children with additional needs make during their time with us.
All children at Chatham Nursery School follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and, if appropriate, are given further support through small group work and intervention. We are committed to narrowing the attainment gap between SEND and non-SEND students.
Attendance is vitally important to enable children to achieve their full potential and we work alongside parents to ensure their child is able to attend school regardless of any additional need.
Our Special Educational Needs & Disability co-ordinators (SENCO) are Angela Pagan and Rachel Rodick.
Our Governor with responsibility for SEND is Rita Byrne.
