Start of year letter for parents Autumn 21

From September there will be changes to the way we offer our provision.

Drop off & collection times

Following government advice we will no longer have staggered times drop off and pick up times

Instead you will have the opportunity to choose what time you arrive on your child’s full days.

Nursery will open the doors between 8:45am and 9:15am and you will be able to drop your child off during this time.

Your child MUST then be collected 6hours later between 2:45pm and 3:15pm.

For example:
-if you drop your child off at 8:55am then they must be collected no later than 2:55pm
-If you drop your child off at 9:10am then they must be collected no later than 3:10pm

We hope this will allow parents more flexibility.

30 hour funding

If your child is in receipt of 30hour funding then the days will remain the same 6 hours 5 days a week. The above drop off and pick up times apply

15 hour funding

If your child is in receipt of 15hr funding then it will be offered over 2 ½ days.

If your child attends the beginning of the week then your child will attend nursery on:

Monday –              6 hours in the times stated above
Tuesday –               6 hours in the times stated above
Wednesday           8:45am – 11:45am

If your child attends the end of the week then your child will attend nursery on:

Wednesday –        12:30pm – 3:30pm
Thursday –             6 hours in the times stated above
Friday –                   6 hours in the times stated above

Children will not need a packed lunch on Wednesday’s.

We hope that there are no further changes however we will continue to follow the most current government guidance and will make changes to our provision as advised, in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.
