Nursery experience is often a child’s first venture alone into the larger

world outside the family and the home. What children experience and

learn in Nursery can create strong and lasting foundations on which to

build in later life.

Open day for September admissions.

At the beginning of the summer term there will be an   “open day” for the Nursery School.

Settling in.

Your childs first visit will be one hour only  and parents/carers will be expected to remain on site.

All children are unique individuals and some will take longer to settle than others.

We want all our children to be happy, confident and independent individuals .

Nursery will work in partnership with parents/ carers to ensure that the transition meets the needs of the child.

Due to the Covid19 pandemic we have had to review how our nursery provision is offered.

We are currently offering the 15hrs over the equivalent of 2.5days.

Three year old funded places are term time only.

Your child will be given their days  at either the beginning or the end of the week, so that where possible the children are mixing with the same children each day.

It is recommended that we have staggered drop off and pick up times, so that all parents aren’t gathered in our small reception area at any one time.

Families will be allocated a drop off and pick up time. If the days and times allocated are not convenient then please inform a member of staff and we will endeavour to accommodate your family needs were possible.

We are asking families to provide a healthy packed lunch for their child each day. This will no longer be provided by nursery.

Guidance on a healthy packed lunches will be provided. (Please see the Lunch time for further details)

We are also asking that you please contribute £1.00 a week towards the cost of snack which they will receive each morning and afternoon
