Our Sensory Room is equipped and designed to create a stimulating and yet calming atmosphere. There are bubble tubes, special lighting with a projector to cast slow-moving images or colours around the walls, there are fibre-optic spray star lights and a mirror ball. A choice of music and sounds can be piped through from the reception area. Panels with a variety of textures such as rough surfaces, stiff bristles, smooth or contoured mirrors, or soft and squishy items are also included. Activity walls have been custom built to provide a range of tactile, as well as electronic audio-visual stimulation. Bookings may be made through the team on reception.
