Little Acorns is our 2 year old provision and part of the federation with the children’s centre, the nursery school and St Hugh’s but operates separately from them.
We offer morning and afternoon sessions for children to attend.
Morning sessions: 8:45-11:45am
Afternoon sessions: 12:30 – 3:30pm
Routine plays a crucial role in the early years of a child’s development for several reasons:
- Provides a sense of security.
- Supports emotional regulation.
- Promotes independence.
- Fosters learning and development and purposeful progression of learning.
- Helps with transitions between activities.
