We were thrilled to be awarded the inclusion quality mark with Centre of Excellence status in June 2025.
The Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) Centre of Excellence is awarded to schools that go above and beyond in creating an inclusive environment where every child is supported to succeed—regardless of their background, ability, or needs.
Being awarded Centre of Excellence status means that a school:
- Has demonstrated exceptional inclusive practice across all areas of school life.
- Actively promotes equality, diversity, and wellbeing for all pupils.
- Builds strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
- Shares its expertise and supports other schools in developing inclusive approaches.
- Is committed to continuous improvement, regularly reflecting on and enhancing its inclusive strategies.
This recognition is not just a badge of honour for Chatham, it’s our commitment to leading the way in inclusion, ensuring that every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
